 Dear families,

I am so happy to finally be back at school after a long month away. I know the students were in good hands and accomplished and learned a lot during my leave.

We are already approaching the end of our journey together in grade 5. It is incredible how time flies!

Looking ahead:

-Science test on chemistry will be on Wednesday, June 16. We will prepare in class but students are encouraged to bring their notes home to study.

-Please check around the house for any class / library books. Next week, we would appreciate that all books be returned to school. Thank you for your help with this.

- The green folder with evaluations will be sent home on Friday the 18th. There is no need to sign and return the folder. If you have any question on any of those evaluations / assignments, please feel free to contact me.

-Many grades have been entered into Power School. You are encouraged to take a look and contact me if you have questions / concerns regarding your child's progress.

Enjoy the weekend,

Mme Richard

Looking ahead, we will start our electricity unit in Science this week. The introduction will be around safety. Please make sure to return the green folder to school with your child as soon as possible. Have a great weekend!

Thursday, June 24: Potluck snacks: If you could provide a dozen of individually wrapped snacks to share in our potluck, that would be awesome! We will watch Wonder as a culminating activity in ELA.
