Happy Friday! We worked hard and learned a lot in grade 5 this week! Announcements: -Evaluation folder was sent home. Please sign the yellow page, remove all assignments and return the folder with only the signed page. I will send the folder home monthly so you can see what your child has been working on and their progress throughout the year. -Some parents have been asking for supplementary activities, worksheets, websites, etc to help support their children in numeracy and literacy.  I will occasionally add a ''Supplementary Activities'' category in Google Classroom to offer learning activities that your child can work on should they require extra practice. -We will be starting a Science project and students are asked to bring any art supply they can find around the house: tissue paper, pipe cleaners, buttons, yarn, beads, etc. If they can have it for Monday, that would be great! I will have limited supplies available to students who don't have any. Thanks in adv...

Bonjour! March 19: pyjama day French presentations next week. Make sure you are well prepared before your presentation date. We are starting building our houses in Science. A cardboard box is needed for Monday. Other materials needed could include but are not limited to: 2 D batteries, hot glue sticks, other rigid pieces of cardboard, electrical tape, aluminum foil, etc... Students need to bring an extra mask in their backpack. After playing outside, the mask becomes wet and it would be important that all students have a spare one available. Enjoy the weekend!
