Announcements:
-Ms. Fitz will come visit our class for our book exchange on Thursday. If you would like to borrow new books, be sure to complete the form this weekend. Here is the link:
-Students should
read at home for a minimum of 15 minutes daily. I would encourage them
to alternate between French and English books. Reading daily helps
improve reading skills, boosts vocabulary and literacy skills and
improves writing skills.
- This week, students need to
practice their
multiplication tables from 0 to 10 at home. They should also learn the
corresponding divisions at the same time. Ex: 5x8=40, 8x5=40, 40/5=8,
40/8=5. Please check Google Classroom for a document to help support
your child in the section Supplementary Activities. This document
includes strategies to memorize basic x facts, flash cards and
exercises.
-Google
Classroom is now updated daily as there are more students absent and
for longer periods of time. In order to not fall behind, students are
responsible for completing all assignments (to the best of their
abilities in these circumstances) and submit them to me when they return
to school.
-For daily announcements and homework, please check your child's agenda.
